EXAMINE

Examine now this broken heart

The doctors say it will not start

They’ve tried to save this damaged soul

But they're not quite sure where the pieces go

Bound and torn … Shred to bits

Even the specialists can’t figure out this

Stitches cover from end to end

The thread of hope that this might mend

But the damage is done

I can not be saved

This sickly heart

Has been over-played

Conceal the scars and

try to forget

That broken hearts
