ESCAPE

In a shallow grave

My heart is placed

This damn life

I can no longer face

Lethal quantities

Of pain consumed

From this exposure

Emptiness grew

Torment filled

Violent screams

For this is life

And not a dream

Close my eyes

Drain the vein

Now blackness fills

My domain

Hollow soul

To me attached

For only 20 years

This life would last

Struggling on

To find a way

But from lives turmoil’s

I can’t escape
