BLAME

Childish adults who can’t have their way
Who place blame on others for their mistakes

Face the fact that you forced the change
You treated her like shit and figured she would stay

Now adolescent acts of jealousy you’ve committed
If you think she’ll take you back your schizophrenic

You base your values on mental abuse
And how much manipulation you can use

How about you grow up and act your fucking age
Instead of dwelling over what you lost yesterday

Your persistent advances will get you nowhere
Besides rejected by those who once cared

Try and move on because times growing shorter
Or we might have to slap your ass with a restraining order

  1. How unfortunately true, yet you've presented a sad humour as well. Very nicely done!

  2. Angel...your throwin' them down with this one. Fierce write, fierce rhyme, and I would NOT want to be the one for it was written for! lol POWER in these words. Raw emotion, frustration, anger, and threat. Hope "it" gets the warning! (And the lesson...I hate how so many of us adults can so quickly regress to juvenile apes!)

  3. I like to try and throw some humor into the mix when it comes to a serious topic. I wrote this about one of my sister's ex-boyfriends who liked to put his hands on her. Lots of frustration and anger behind these words haha. Thanx to you both for reading and sharing your thoughts on my work .. U guys Rock!!
