SCAVENGERS OF HUMAN MISERY

Scavengers flock at the stench of pain
Each dying vessel and fallen tear they claim
Squeeze tight these hearts you wish to drain
Penetrating the smiles you consume in vain

Rip apart the happiness that does not exist in your eyes
Consciously laughing at the world you deny
The achievements of another you viciously despise
Where life would be content if those you loathe would die

Bitterly your mind has shut the world out
Over come by the notion that your life does not count

Manipulate the weak to feed your sickness
Through others discontent you seek forgiveness
Here sits a victim not only a witness
I’ve been a sucker to the misery business

Fed up with all this hypocritical conformity
Spreading your hate upon anyone you reach
Dwelling in a life of rageful tendencies
Just another scavenger of human misery
