PLAGUE
As society we’ve
Maimed the earth
Blackened all
It’s valued worth
Filter waste
For drinking water
As each summer
Grows increasingly hotter
The air supply
Is running low
No more resources
Where will we go?
Diseases infest
Just like the plague
No cure to help
The government claims
Violence grows
At a popular rate
For your next decision
Could be your final mistake
Eyes blurred
From smoke and smog
Just how long
Can nature stay strong?

ReplyDeleteIt's rather unfortunate the world is more profit driven than human driven.
I am a big fan of salvation and believes it won't be long. We just have to stay strong as nature does. Nicely done.
