In a world of loss
Unfit
To engage in love
Avoid
The embrace at any cost
Exhausted
Each and every beat
Exempt
And obligated to nothing
Distance
Myself from the pain
Disguised
My scars is troubling
Screaming
But no one hears
Resentment
Becomes all to clear
Hate
Vows to engulf me
Entrapped
Within discrepancy
Tomorrow
Brings more disappointments
Love
I may never find
Avoid
The lies of another
Angrily
