To give a thanx to all that’s been done

To acknowledge gratitude

We give presents to friends

To show that we care

Hoping all hearts can mend

The smell of the pine tree

And the lights so neatly placed

Brings a special glowing warmth

To a glum yet smiling face

Boxes full of colors

And stockings red and white

So many anxious children

Await the morning light

A day where peace

Can almost be seen

A day where all hearts

Can be released
